Fast factory versions of frumpy family sedans are nothing new - they’ve been around almost as long as the industry has - but few really capture the mind of the auto enthusiast like the Ford Taurus SHO (Super High Output) did during the 1990s. Perhaps because it was one of the few American takes on the concept at the time, or perhaps because it was simply a quick and fun sedan, the SHO’s fans are still clamoring for a revival.

The diesel V8 engines, long a hallmark of BMW, will now be a thing of the past as BMW announced plans to phase them out entirely, replacing them with the more environmentally friendly forced-induction models.

Every once in a while you see something that is mildly strange. Ok maybe very very strange. Here is a perfect example of a person with too much time, an extremely cheap source of fine german parts and little to no sense.

It is still an unfinished project, so we can’t knock it while it’s still in constructions, but daayyym it sure is different.
