Brabus Tuned Tesla Roadster

As many of you know, the electric vehicle market is about to heat up. With many changes done in the aftermarket to regular gas guzzlers, the electric market has largely been unattended to by the traditional tuners. Of course minus the RUF electric Porsche and a few others.

The Tesla Roadster below got a bunch of Brabus goodies that are mostly cosmetic. Wheel and tire package and interior/exterior styling. So if you want funky lights and some great sill plates for your Tesla, hit up Brabus.

Ever want to feel unique? Something out of the ordinary? Don’t want to pay for an S4 or an S5, yet still want the attention?

German tuner ABT has aftermarket solutions for tuning the new 2009 Audi A4’s and A5’s.

The A4 tuner kit includes the following:

Front bumper spoiler

Rear bumper spoiler

Side skirts

For either the sedan or Avant
Consumer price MSRP is set at € 4900 in Europe

The A5 tuner kit includes the following:

Front bumper spoiler

Rear bumper spoiler

Side skirts
Consumer price MSRP is set at € 4950 in Europe

The lowering kit is an extra € 820,

It will be interesting to see how the German tuner companies will deal with the fact that the German government has effectively banned chip tuning. I guess there will be a lot more body modifications and suspension kits being sold.

Hopefully ABT does not end up like Greddy…

Caractere Audi A4 Avant

The French tuning house Caractere has gone to work on the new upcoming Audi A4 Avant. Making subtle differences in facia, as well as adding stylish wheels and an exhaust Caractere is trying to position itself as a premium tuning brand.

While the 2009 Audi A4 Avant is a perfect subject to undergo these changes, we must wonder where all of these small tuning houses are popping out from. Since the days of Wings West and it’s rollercoaster ride in the industry, new entrees have been trying to fill a niche market, such as this one for premium styling products.

One must wonder when the bar will be raised so full fledges tuning houses such as Abt, APR, MTM will rid themselves of the “body kit and exhaust” type tuners.
Anyways, hats off to Caractere for a semi decent attempt at trying to accomplish something that has been over and done with for the past 5 years.
