NOPI Motorsports LLC has made the announcement, that they have begun restructuring the company as a result of poor performance in the spring season.
NOPI, is in the business of organizing automotive events centered in the sport compact performance segment including car shows, drag events and drifting events.
According to the website of the company, the rest of the events for the remainder of the year are cancelled.
NOPI has been organizing events for the past 20 years, and this comes as a great shock to the automotive community as a whole. The company blames tight spending, loss of consumer confidence, as well as a general economic downturn of the whole country as the cause for discontinuing operations.
NOPI Motorsport is working with its clients and sponsors, to move through this period of uncertainty and to continue to build a better and brighter future for the sport according to Michael Meyers, President of NOPI Motorsports .
