How did you get started modeling in the auto scene?: When I was 16, I was asked by a friend of mine to help him hand out flyers at Darknights Nationals, and had a lot of fun. I didn’t appear in the auto scene again until I joined Kayce Model Management in 2008 and appeared at Darknights Auto Salon..now that I have the taste for import modeling, I know I won’t be quitting anytime soon

From time to time some people wonder what the car models are thinking of the onslaught of boys gawking, taking pictures or drooling over them. We have caught up with Synthia Sweets, one of the ImportFest models and asked her a couple of questions

Nationality: I am pure Filipina

Hobbies: I love singing most! I think it’s the only instrument you can bring anywhere with you. I also enjoy painting, and of course, who wouldn’t love basketball? I play ball to relax and be my inner boy..haha!

Ideal Date: It would be, a romantic dinner outside with a perfect view of downtown at night. Then after dessert, he’ll play the guitar and sing me a love song he’s written himself. I’m such a sucker for romance! Also, chocolates are not necessary, but a bouqet of Lillies will definitely put a huge smile on my face.

Aspirations: To work with the biggest and the best in the industry of Import Modeling, whether it’s modeling agencies, photographers, shows and events, magazines ect. And ofcourse, be the cover model of GTscene.com!

Turn ons: A guy who has a great sense of style, common sense, has confidence but not cocky or arrogant, and can definitely make me laugh. He also needs to know how to respect and treat me right. And some turn ons, a young lady never tells! *giggles*

Turn offs: Immaturity is a big no-no

How you got started modeling in the auto scene:
I started off with photoshoots from clothing lines and got a little exposure. Then I got invited to model for Vibrant Performance, the host at ImportFest Fall this year. It felt very alive meeting new people and getting tons of my pictures taken, so I decided to continue to live the high life of Import Modeling!
